About Me

    Hi, and welcome to my webpage! I'm a rising 5th year at UCSC, the University of California Santa Cruz. I'm currently pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Cognitive Science: Artificial Intelligence & Human/Computer Interaction. My unique educational background has propelled me to the forefront of the field of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, but don't mistake specialization for narrowness! I'm experienced with a broad range of programming languages and frameworks, and hope to learn even more over the next few years. On this website you'll be able to peruse some of my projects, accomplishments, and photography, all facets of my life that I'm proud of. In terms of computer science, I'm most familliar with Python and C programming, with experience in Java, Javascript, C++, Assembly, and many more languages.     My second major in Cognitive Science has also widened my knowledge base extensively; neuroscience and fundamental cognitive theory are special interests of mine, as well as collecting and manipulating EEG datasets. In fact, the club that I've been a founding officer of at UCSC, NeuroTechSC, recently won 1st in the U.S. in the international NeuroTechX Competition 🎉! I've enjoyed positions at the Computational and Experimental Cognition Lab and the Social Emotional Technology Lab here at UCSC in the past, and am currently part of the Boudewyn Cognitive Neuroscience Lab and the Tech4Good lab as of Summer 2021. Two of my current projects that I'm working on for my research labs are processing EEG datasets in conjunction with brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), and constructing a reinforcement learning based AI social planner system based on the Salesforce AI Economist experiment. I'm looking for a full-time job after my graduation in March 2021, so please reach out if you're interested!
